Transportation to Taman Negara
For Travellers Departing From Kuala Lumpur
- (Router: Kuala Lumpur -> Jerantut -> Kuala Tembeling Jetty -> Taman Negara) The shuttle bus departs from Hotel Mandarin Pacific, Chinatown - Petaling Street, Kuala Lumpur.Bus stops at Jerantut town before noon to allow passengers to take their lunch. Passengers will board another shuttle bus at 1.30 pm to Kuala Tembeling Jetty and 2pm boat to Taman Negara.
Bus Daily Departure Time: 8.30 am (Register at 7.30 am at NKS Office in Hotel Mandarin Pacific)
Ticket cost: RM75.00 per person / way (include bus and boat ticket)
For Travellers Departing From Jerantut (The Gateway of Taman Negara)
- (Router: Jerantut -> Kuala Tembeling Jetty -> Taman Negara) The Shuttle bus departs from Hotel Sri Emas or NKS Cafe bring you to Kuala Tembeling Jetty (about 10km - 12km). From here it is a scenic 3 hour (approximately) boat ride up the Tembeling River to the Park's headquarters at Kuala Tahan.
Bus Daily Departure Time: 8.30 am and 1.30 pm (Register at Hotel Sri Emas or NKS Cafe in Jerantut)
Boat Daily Departure Time: 9.00 am and 2.00 pm (Register at Hotel Sri Emas or NKS Cafe in Jerantut)

Options 01- By Tourist Coach
Other than boat, passengers can choose the bus direct to Taman Negara from Hotel Sri Emas or NKS Cafe. Bus Daily Departure Time: 6.30 am and 5.00 pm (Register at Hotel Sri Emas or NKS Cafe in Jerantut)

For Travellers Departing From Cameron Highland
- (Router: Cameron Highland -Gua Musang -Jerantut -Taman Negara) The new shuttle service organize by Father Guest House in Cameron Highland to Taman Negara will stop in Gua Musang before noon to allow passengers take their lunch and board to NKS Shuttle bus to Taman Negara. Bus stop over in Jerantut and allow passengers to bank get enough cash before to Taman Negara. (Taman Negara no bank and ATM).
Bus Daily Departure Time: 10.00 am (Register at Golden Highland / Daniel Lodge (Kang Travel) in Cameron Highland)
Ticket cost RM90.00 per person / way (bus ticket)
For Travellers Departing From Kuala Besut Jetty (The gateway of Perhentian Island)
- (Router: Kuala Besut Jetty - Gua Musang - Jerantut - Taman Negara) The new shuttle service organize by Water Color in Kuala Besut Jetty to Taman Negara will stop in Gua Musang before noon to allow passengers take their lunch and board to NKS Shuttle bus to Taman Negara. Bus stop over in Jerantut and allow passengers withdraw money at ATM Marchine before to Taman Negara. (Taman Negara no bank and ATM).
Bus Daily Departure Time: 10.00 am (Register at KB Backpackers Boat Service Counter in Kuala Besut Jetty)
Ticket cost RM90.00 per person / way (bus ticket)
For Travellers Departing by Train to Jerantut

For Travellers Departing from Butterworth
There is a bus departing at 10.00 pm to Jerantut, arrive at 7.00 am.
This bus organize by Kuala Tahan Express. No phone reservation, only
walk-in booking.
For Travellers Departing from Airport (KLIA or LCCT)
There is no bus direct to Taman Negara from Airport. You can hire a
coach (max 6 person) and cost RM650.00 per coach.

Experience the longest tree
top suspension bridge in the world with 530 meters and height up to 70 meters
.It takes about 2 years to complete the constructions of the bridge with cost
more than RM1 million. Not even a single nail use to build this structure. It
is safe and sturdy enough to sustain the load of tourist up to 10 tones of
weight for every bridge. Track up the hill to enjoy the panoramic view of
Gunung Tahan and verdant valley of Taman Negara
at the height of 380 meters above sea

River Cruise to Lata Berkoh & Visit Kelah Sanctuary
This is one of the jewels in Taman Negara and the
favorite spot for visitors to the park. You can see and photograph the natural
beauty of Taman Negara as what have you seen the most promotion photographs
were taken. Lata
Berkoh is a spectacular cascade that marks the limit of easy navigability on
the river. There are deep pools below the cascade, with strong under-current
and very cold water. Just relax and
enjoy the rapids from the rocky area while having your picnic lunch. To get there by wooden boat is always the most popular choice. This is because jungle trekking for 8.5KM from Kuala Tahan is quite tough for ordinary people. The journey on Sungai Tahan takes about one hour depending on the river level. Sungai Tahan is in many places lined with huge, leaning Neram trees, forming an archway over the water, their trunks and branches festooned with ferns and orchids. The boats stop about 500M away from the cascade. Then you need to walk through easy walking path leads along the river bank to the cascade. After you have satisfied yourself with Lata Berkoh, it’s time for you to go back downstream. Keep your eyes and ears open during your journey. Appreciate the sound of the natural jungle habitat and see kingfishers, fish-eagles, straw-headed bulbuls etc. The boat is under the management of the Wildlife department. To secure your boat, please book in advance because the boats are limited.
