TRAVEL ITINERARY FOR 3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS

Day 01 (KLUANG-Kahang-Kg Peta)

xxxxhrs: Assemble at Kluang Town (Meeting point- Railway stations/ Bus Stations/ Hotels)

·         Meet our representatives. Land Transfer to Johor Park Office at Kahang for registrations

·         4WD allocations. Proceed adventure journey to Kg. Peta By 4WD

xxxxhrs: Arrival at Park HQ. Registration & Check in. Free at leisure.

1900hrs: Adventure Dinner is served

2000hrs: Night Jungle Walk

2130hrs: Return to Accommodations  & Good Night

Day 02 (Kg Peta-Kuala Jasin-Kg Peta)

0700hrs: Adventure Breakfast is served

0800hrs: Boat Ride to Pacau, Kuala Jasin

0900hrs: Arrival at Pacau, Kuala Jasin

·         Trek to Kuala Marong & Upeh Guling Waterfalls

-Arrive at Upeh Guling Waterfalls .

               -Visit to small Island for wild Orchids & Picther Plants, explore flora & fauna around the area

·         Trek to Tasik Biru

-Picnic Lunch at Tasik Biru |Swimming at natural swimming pool.

1500hrs: Trek back to Pacau,Kuala Jasin

1630hrs: Arrival at Pacau,Kuala Jasin . Proceed Boat Ride back to accommodations.

1730hrs: Arrival at Kg Peta, Return to accommodations - free at leisure

1900hrs: Adventure Dinner is served

2000hrs: Your own activities.

Day 03 (Kg Peta-Kahang-Kluang)

0700hrs: Adventure Breakfast is served

0800hrs: Leisure Rafting down Endau River to Kg Peta. White Water Rafting (Grade 1)

                 Visit to Orang Asli Village of Kg Peta-Animal traps and blow pipe demonstrations

1100hrs: Return to accommodations. Adventure dinner is served.

1230hrs: Check out from accommodations. 4WD Transfer from Park HQ to Kluang via Kahang

1530hrs: Arrival at Kluang. Program End.

Place of interest through Peta Gateway Kampong Peta :  Entrance to the Park via the Orang Asli Village The journey into the Park begins from the Kampung Peta jetty on the Sungai (river) Endau.  The boat ride upstream to Kuala Jasin will take about 30 to 45 minutes (9 km), depending on the water level.  On the way to Kuala Jasin, visitors can stop at the NERC, which is 15 minutes’ walk (3 km) from the village.  At the end of the boat jetty, visitors will disembark at Pacau Jetty and walk 15 minutes to reach Kuala Jasin. Kuala Jasin :  Breathtaking view at the confluence of the Endau and Jasin rivers Kuala Jasin is the main recreational site with complete facilities.  From here, visitors can choose either to climb up the Janing Barat Hill or trek to Kuala Marong on the Jasin river.  Janing Barat (450 m above sea level) is where the Fan Palm Forest and Heath Forest are located.  Trekking up the sandstone hill will take 1 to 2 hours.  Trekking to Kuala Marong will take about an hour (4 km) along the riverside trail. Kuala Marong :  One of the cleanest rivers in the country Kuala Marong (the confluence between Jasin river and Marong river) has a camping site.  This is a kelah sanctuary and fishing is not allowed here.  From here, visitors can either go to Tasik Air Biru or Upeh Guling Waterfall.  Tasik Air Biru is only 10 minutes’ walk (300 m) upstream of Marong river.  Upeh Guling Waterfall is about 20 minutes’ walk (500 m) upstream of Jasin river. Tasik Air Biru : Natural swimming pool at Marong river Swimming is a must here in the crystal clear waters of the pool.  Beware!  The depth of the pool can be deceiving.  From here, visitors can go to Upeh Guling Waterfall.  It takes only about 25 minutes’ walk.  This will be the last point before turning back to Kuala Jasin. Upeh Guling Waterfall :  Unique bathtub-like depressions in rock This will normally be the last destination for visitors, unless they intend to visit the ultimate waterfalls in the Park, the legendary Buaya Sangkut.  The trekking will take about 4 hours (10 km) from Kuala Marong, further upstream on the Jasin river.  An overnight stay is recommended at Batu Hampar, where there is a campsite, about 1 hour’s walk (4 km) from Kuala Marong.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Reservation:

§  All rates are nett inclusive of prevailing service charge and government tax. Advance booking can be made to a maximum of 6 months only. Upon confirmation of reservation either by fax, email or telephone, the reservation will be held for 7 days during which you are required to pay LBEA:-

(a) a non-refundable deposit amounting to 50% of your reservation made for booking.

 If LBEA fails to receive the required amount, the reservation will be automatically cancelled without further notice

§  Full payment must be made 30 days before the arrival date, or else booking will be cancelled automatically without further notice.

§  If reservation is made within 30 days prior to visit date, full payment is required.

§  All remittances are to be in Ringgit Malaysia. Bank charges incurred are to be borne by the guest. Remittance slip with reservation reference number must be faxed at the time of payment.

§  Upon receipt of proof of payment, the Reservation department will issue you a guaranteed reservation confirmation slip.

§  All bookings and guaranteed reservations are not transferable.

§  All accommodation is strictly based on our unit configuration. Every additional person will incur a surcharge where configuration / availability allow.

Cancellation, No Show, Unused Services and Amendments

§  If a cancellation to a reservation is made : NO REFUND will be entertained.

§  If applicable, refunds will be made by cheque within 30 days from date of cancellation.

§  In the event of a NO SHOW, NO REFUNDS will be made as the accommodation reserved is considered used.

§  Check in time is at 1.00pm.

§  Check out time is at 10.30am. Should you anticipate arriving later than 6.00pm, please call the respective destination to notify them of your arrival time.

Force Majeure Clause: LBEA shall not be held liable or responsible for failure to execute arrangements specified herein directly or indirectly occasioned or through or in consequence of war, strikes, riots and Acts of God or conditions beyond the control of LBEA.

Disputes, Actions or Other Matters arising:

§  It is expressly agreed and declared that the proper law of arrangement is the Law of Malaysia in accordance with the laws and procedures of Malaysia under any and all circumstances.
